Donna Schmidt, Assistant Chief Flight Instructor: Donna moved to Arizona from Grangeville Idaho at the age of 19 to become a helicopter pilot. She is a graduate of SHS's professional pilot program, completing our course in record time in 2007.  She immediately started as a flight instructor at the age of 20 and loves teaching new students.  In her spare time she likes to do scratch-boarding, hiking, water & snow skiing,and shooting guns.  Donna was appointed Assistant Chief Flight Instructor in 2009.

Micael Olsson: Owner/Chief Flight Instructor: Mike was born in Sweden and started his aviation career in 1985 with gliders and airplanes.  Mike achieved his rotorcraft rating while in Arizona in 1990.  Before opening his own flight school he has worked as chief flight instructor for over a decade.  He has done numerous jobs in the helicopter industry ranging from cattle herding, search and rescue, photo flights, and tours.  In his spare time he likes golfing, swimming, and spending time with his daughter.
